Abstract:ObjectiveTo evaluate the therapeutic effect of combined treatment on auricular keloid.Methods112 patients with auricular keloid were randomly divided into surgical treatment group (group A) and combined treatment group (group B). To the patients of group A, only ulectomy was applied. To those of group B, ulectomy was adopted combined with postoperative external application of moisture burn ointment (MEBO) and local injection of triamcinolone acetonide.ResultsThe curative and effective rates of group B(57.1%, 83.9%)were higher than those of group A(32.1%,73.2%) respectively with statistically significant differences (P<0.05).ConclusionCombined treatment is beneficial to improve the curative effect of auricular keloid.
