Abstract:ObjectiveTo investigate the feasibility, surgical principles and clinical efficacy of endoscopic resection of nasal vestibule cyst.MethodsClinical data of 36 patients suffering from nasal vestibule cyst receiving endoscopic resection in our department from March 2014 to March 2016 were analyzed retrospectively. The evaluated data included surgical time, intraoperative bleeding volume, postoperative complications, hospitalized stays, and followup results.ResultsThe nasal vestibule cysts were completely resected through nasal endoscope in all 36 cases, with short operational time and less bleeding. No numbness and swelling of the upper lip was observed after operation. Neither recurrence nor anterior nostril stenosis occurred for followingup ranged from 6 to 24 months.ConclusionWith advantages of definite clinical effect, relapsefree, easy operation and slight trauma, endoscopic resection of nasal vestibule cyst is worth popularizing.
