Abstract:ObjectiveTo sort out main approaches to the diagnosis of adductor spasmodic dysphonia (ADSD). Auditoryperceptual features of ADSD and other related voice disorders were described, compared and analyzed. Key points for differential diagnosis of ADSD were summarized. Diagnosis of ADSD largely depends on auditoryperceptual features, but clinicians also need to integrate information such as case history, change of symptoms, signs etc. for accurate clinical judgement.
