Abstract:Abstract: Objective To explore the clinical experience of diagnosis and treatment of nasopharyngeal carcinoma in children and adolescents. Methods The clinical data of 2 young patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma were retrospectively analyzed, and the clinical characteristics, diagnosis and treatment of these patients were discussed. Results In this paper, 2 patients were prone to misdiagnosis at initial diagnosis. During diagnosis and treatment, nasopharyngeal carcinoma was suspected because their disease characteristics were inconsistent with common diseases and similar to nasopharyngeal cancer, nasopharyngeal biopsy was performed. Finally, the pathological report confirmed NPC,After diagnosis, they were given comprehensive treatment based on radiotherapy. Conclusions Young patients with nasopharyngeal cancer are rare and develop rapidly in clinical practice, and it is easy to be misdiagnosed at initial diagnosis. In addition to considering the diagnosis of common diseases, clinicians should also be alert to the possibility of nasopharyngeal cancer, so as to achieve early detection, early diagnosis and early treatment, and improve the survival rate of patients.
