Abstract:Objective to investigate the clinical characteristics of patients with sudden sensorineural hearing loss complicated with metabolic syndrome and the influence of various related factors on the prognosis.Methods:98 cases of sudden sensorineural hearing loss patients complicated with metabolic syndrome and admitted to our hospital"s otolaryngology department from April 2019 to August 2021 Clinical data were retrospectively analyzed ,including 86 cases in one ear and 6 cases in both ears, a total of 104 ears. According to the treatment effect, they were classified as invalid group 62 ears, effective group 42 ears to analyze the influencing factors of clinical treatment effect in patients with sudden sensorineural hearing loss and metabolic syndrome.Result:98 cases (104 ears) of patients with sudden sensorineural hearing loss complicated with metabolic syndrome had a total effective rate of 40.38%, of which 62 were ineffective cases, 29 cases were effective, 4 cases were markedly effective, and 9 cases were cured; in the treatment-ineffective group, as for the number of days of onset was ≥7 days, accompanied by dizziness, and no batroxobin was used ,the ratio was higher than the treatment effective group (P<0.05), and the prognosis of low frequency hearing loss type was better (P<0.05). In two groups , there was no significant difference in age, gender, ear side, hearing loss type (high frequency type, flat type, profound type), prothrombin time, active partial thromboplastin time, fibrinogen, thrombin time, and platelet count (P>0.05). Logistic regression analysis shows that days of onset which were≥7 days and being accompanied by dizziness were independent risk factors affecting the clinical treatment of patients with sudden sensorineural hearing loss complicated with metabolic syndrome (P<0.05 and OR>1). Conclusion The effective rate of treatment for patients with sudden sensorineural hearing loss complicated with metabolic syndrome is low.And days of onset which are≥7 days and being accompanied by dizziness are independent risk factors affecting the clinical therapic effects, which should be paid attention.
