Allergic rhinitis (AR) is an allergic disease of the nasal mucosa and is characterized by a Th2-dominated immune response associated with elevated serum IgE levels. It greatly affects the social life, sleep and work of individuals, and increases the burden of family and social economy. Despite rapid progress in the treatment of AR, including immunotherapy, intranasal steroids and antihistamines, and mast cell stabilizers, 20% of AR patients no longer show sufficient subjective and objective improvement. Therefore, it is urgent to further study the pathogenesis of AR and develop new preparations for the treatment of AR. Micro-RNA (miRNA) is a kind of small molecule RNA regulating gene expression, which is believed to be related to many inflammatory diseases. It has gradually become the focus of research by scholars at home and abroad, and achieved some results. In this paper, AR-related micro-RNA was systematically summarized, and the current research status was briefly reviewed, and the problems urgently needed to be further studied were pointed out, hoping to provide some references for the development of this field.
