Abstract:Ideological and political elements should be integrated into the teaching process of otolaryngology, so that ideological and political education, professional knowledge education and practice to work together and complement each other, complete the mission and responsibilities of clinical medical professional educators, and cultivate high-quality medical talents and successors with both virtue and ability. According to the characteristics of offline and online mixed courses of otolaryngology, this paper integrates ideological and political elements and the improvement of ideological and political connotations into otolaryngology teaching through teaching methods, scenario simulation teaching methods, virtual simulation experiment teaching methods and PBL(problem-based learning) teaching methods. At the same time, teachers with ideological and political teaching awareness and ability are cultivated. Experts are invited to train teachers’ ideological and political teaching ability through special lectures,online guidance and other forms. Through teaching supervision, evaluation, demonstration and communication, teachers integrate ideological and political education elements into the teaching process of otorhinolaryngology. The realization of teaching and learning is of great significance to the teaching of medical students.
