    Abstract:

Nasopharyngeal carcinoma mostly occurs in South China, among which Guangdong and Guangxi are the most common. Radiotherapy is the first choice for nasopharyngeal carcinoma. There are many complications often occur in late stage of nasopharyngeal carcinoma after radiotherapy, such as dysphagia, difficulty in opening mouth, dysarthria, neck movement disorder, psychological disorder and so on, which seriously affect the quality of life of patients. Rehabilitation is an effective method to treat the complications of nasopharyngeal carcinoma after radiotherapy. It can prevent the occurrence of complications, control the development of complications or delay the aggravation of complications. Different complications after radiotherapy of nasopharyngeal carcinoma have different pathogenesis, different methods of rehabilitation evaluation and different methods of rehabilitation treatment. This paper reviews the pathogenesis, rehabilitation evaluation and treatment progress of common complications after radiotherapy for nasopharyngeal carcinoma,it is expected to provide theoretical basis for rehabilitation treatment of complications after radiotherapy of nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
