Abstract:The novel coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a highly contagious disease that seriously endangers global public health. The main clinical manifestations include fever, cough, fatigue, etc. As the epidemic progresses, sudden sensorineural hearing loss (SSNHL) in the course of COVID-19 patients is increasing. SSNHL can be a sequela of COVID-19, and some patients have SSNHL as the first and only symptom. This article summarizes the latest research progress of SSNHL associated with COVID-19, hoping to contribute to the subsequent related research and clinical diagnosis and treatment.
