Abstract:【 Abstract 】Objective To investigate the application and effect of small incision and "T" shaped musculoskeletal flap in cochlear implantation. Methods 56 patients with severe and extremely severe sensorineural deafness treated in Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture People's Hospital were retrospectively analyzed. The cochlear implant was performed by small incision of skin behind the ear and "T" shaped musculoskeletal flap was made. Postoperative incision length, operation time and postoperative healing were recorded. Results The average incision length was 3.5±0.5cm. The average operation time was 95±10min.Postoperative incision infection with implant was excluded in 1 patient, and the remaining patients healed well without postoperative flap related complications. Conclusion The application of small incision and "T" shaped musculoskeletal flap in electronic cochlear implantation has better visual field and lower flap complications without increasing operation time.
