Abstract:The etiology of sudden sensorineural hearing loss (SSHL) is still unclear. It is a common refractory disease in otolaryngology, and the prognosis is often poor. Due to the increased prevalence of in recent years, more and more scholars begin to pay close attention to SSHL, clinically often used to improve the inner ear microcirculation, antivirus, relieve edema, hyperbaric oxygen treatment methods, such as lost, as a kind of serious disease, closely related to a variety of metabolic disease. At present, the clinical studies of SSHL rarely focus on patients with diabetes. We analyzed the characteristics of patients with sudden sensorineural hearing loss accompanied by diabetes, and reviewed the related progress of its influencing factors and corticosteroid treatment, as well as some prospects for future treatment.
