Abstract:Laryngeal contact granuloma (LCG), also known as vocal process granuloma or laryngeal contact ulcer, is a rare benign lesion that is difficult to cure and prone to recurrence. In clinical practice, some patients often have problems such as ineffective conservative therapy, inability to tolerate medical treatment or postoperative recurrence. It is difficult to choose the follow-up treatment. Therefore, it is very important to choose individual treatment regimen for different patients. At present, there are few comprehensive studies on the prognostic factors of LCG. In this paper, we reviewed the relevant literature, and summarized the prognostic factors. I hope that can provide a basis for patients with reliable treatment expectations and formulating an individualized treatment.
